Basic Training for Married Couples: An African-American Marriage Mentor Training

The Basic Training for Couples curriculum was developed for the African-American Community by Nisa Muhammad. This workshop spans two days - beginning on Saturday, March 13 from 10:00am - 5:00pm & continuing on Sunday, March 14 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm.

The St. Louis Healthy Marriage Coalition, along with the Coalition for Healthy African-American Marriages, is proud to announce this exciting opportunity for African-American married couples in St. Louis!

Nisa Muhammad, founder of Wedded Bliss Foundation and Black Marriage Day, is traveling from Washington D.C. to St. Louis to present her successful and exciting  "Basic Training for Couples" Facilitator Training. Muhammad was recently featured in a segment on Marriage in the African American Community on CNN’s award winning series Black America 2.

We are looking for strong African-American couples in the St. Louis community to attend this workshop to strengthen the local healthy marriage/relationship network, as well as deepen the range of healthy marriage/relationship education tools that are available to the African-American Community in St. Louis.

Cost: $40.00 a couple

Cost Includes: Food and refreshments, all curriculum materials, certificate of completion, and free parking.
